What is recontouring?
Recontouring also called reshaping or odontoplasty in dentistry is a relatively fast and inexpensive procedure. It is the process of restoring the problematic teeth if it is damaged and aesthetically forming the forms with small treatments.
When can you choose for it?
Recontouring is one of the most protective cosmetic procedures. The collection of bacterial plaque and removal of small irregularities is possible with recontouring. It is especially applied to the lower and upper front teeth that are broken due to tooth squeezing and grinding. With the recounturing process, breakage of the tooth is prevented and a more successful result is achieved.
How does it work?
Recontouring can only be performed in the case with little problems and the entire tooth structure must be intact. The treatment does not require anesthesia.
